Special Rotarians: Richard Lambert an infrequent BBL Rotarian was present and welcomed to the club.  Richard is currently living in North Carolina!  Shirley Hartwick has been traveling and attending the morning meeting.  It was great to see her at this 4th meeting (evening) of the month.
President Keenan: was delighted to induct two new members to Rotary and induct one transplant from the Indio Rotary Club.  Brenda Riley and Mike Duran are both with World Mark – Wyndham Resort.  Brenda is the General Manager and Mike Duran is the Maintenance Supervisor.  Andy Brakebill is a transplant from Indio and has extensive experience with RYLA.  It was also noted that Keenan’s first induction was conducted with dignity befitting welcoming new Rotarians.  All of the attending Rotarians came up and welcomed our newest Rotarians.

Mike Chilcoat: needs drivers for the Telephone Book Distribution on September 23 and maybe 24th.  He reported that he has enough Interactors but needs more drivers.  It is a fun day for Rotarians so sign up and show up!

Inductees Left to Right: Mike Duran, Andy Brakebill, Keenan Warner (President) and Brenda Riley
The Fifth Meeting of August:  This meeting will be a Spouses/Partners night and Oktoberfest introduction.  There has been some confusion about our meetings!  The FOURTH meeting of the month, all members should attend the evening meeting.  This is a Paul Harris night.  It is not necessarily a Spouses/Partner night.  The fifth meeting of the month, when it occurs, is a social night AND Spouses/Partners night.
Club Member Satisfaction Survey: Keenan presented a power point show showing the results of the satisfaction survey.  Only 27-28 members responded to the survey.  This survey is attached to an email following this Bulletin.  It is a PDF file and you will need Adobe Reader to read it.  Adobe reader is free.   Go to www.google.com and type in Adobe Reader.  It is 100% free download.
