Dinner:  It was Pasta dinner night.  Spaghetti and Tortellini with Marinara Sauce and Meat Sauce.  Salad and Deserts. 

Special Lady:  Llora Booth returned from her first year at the University of California Irvine to receive her scholarship money.  She updated us on her last year.  Her mother was also in attendance and it was difficult to tell which one received the scholarship!  Left Right:  Mike Chilcoat, Llora Booth and Mrs. Booth.

Special Rotarians: Richard Lambert an infrequent BBL Rotarian was present and welcomed to the club.  Richard is currently living in North Carolina!  Shirley Hartwick has been traveling and attending the morning meeting.  It was great to see her at this 4^th meeting (evening) of the month. 

President Keenan: was delighted to induct two new members to Rotary and induct one transplant from the Indio Rotary Club.  Brenda Riley and Mike Duran are both with World Mark – Wyndham Resort.  Brenda is the General Manager and Mike Duran is the Maintenance Supervisor.  Andy Brakebill is a transplant from Indio and has extensive experience with RYLA.  It was also noted that Keenan’s first induction was conducted with dignity befitting welcoming new Rotarians.  All of the attending Rotarians came up and welcomed our newest Rotarians. 

 

Mike Chilcoat: needs drivers for the Telephone Book Distribution on September 23 and maybe 24^th.  He reported that he has enough Interactors but needs more drivers.  It is a fun day for Rotarians so sign up and show up!
