Program (Keenan Reporting)
Our speaker tonight is the head football coach at BBHS, Dave Griffiths who was recently voted small schools Coach of the Year by Cal-Hi Sports.  Dave guided the Bears to a CIF Southern Section Division 2 title and CIF SoCal D5 AA regional final.  He recorded his 150th career win in the Bears' CIF Southern Section semifinal game against Santa Ana.  The award comes as Dave completes his 19th season at the helm of BBHS.

Dave is the second coach from Big Bear to earn this prestigious distinction.  Mike Clifton won it in 1992.

This year our Bears went 13-2 overall, 3-0 in League and 8-0 at home.  After an opening day loss to Aquinas, the Bears went on to log 13 consecutive wins.  Their final game of their season was a heart-breaking loss to Golden West in the 2017 CIF State Championship Bowl game.

REMEMBER:  Sign up for Sweetheart Ball.
