Dear Friends and Community Members
The Rotary Club of Big Bear Lake has been an integral part of celebrating Christmas in the valley for over 40+ years with the Rotary Santa Visitation Project. As in the past, all families both locals and visitors, are invited to call for a Santa reservation. Excitement will abound when Santa with bells jingling and a big “HO, HO, HO”. This year Santa will knock on the door and drop a Christmas Bag for the Family. Santa will be wearing a mask and will not enter the house. Please let the children watch for Santa through the window.
Sadly, Rotary has found that this is the only Christmas celebration for some children. When this occurs, Rotarians provide Stater Food Cards, to the neediest. Each year we expect to visit about 400+ children over three nights. This year SANTA visits will be during the evenings of December 17th, 18th, and 19th.
