Fireworks Update
Due to COVID-19, a new AND SMALLER Pyro engineering team will be coordinating this year's Fireworks Show due to Clayton's travel restrictions from Japan.  The new Pyro engineering team will be approximately 1/2 the size of Clayton's team so it is IMPERATIVE that Rotarians and FRIENDS OF ROTARIANS assist with the barge preparation.

Discussion centered around relocating the barge to a more highly visible area for the valley.  The idea is to try to keep social distancing.  The SMALL BARGE will be located in the cove adjacent to the Community Church and Veterans' Park.

There will be an update on needs for the project on a Zoom Meeting on Monday, June 22 @ 7:00 p.m....stay tuned!!

Helen Walsh asked to acknowledge her appreciation (and the club's) for the support of Jim Miller in obtaining a $3k grant from the county for Million Meals.  GREAT work Jim and Helen!!

2020-2021 Rotary Budget: Dave Johnson announced that the Budget Committee had met and the new adopted budget will be forthcoming shortly.  Thanks to the entire Budget Committee for this work

BW Lodge @ Big Bear Update: In discussions with Cynthia, Dave was told that the corporate offices have tentatively scheduled a "soft opening" in July.  It was also noted that some of the employees with whom we had worked meals, events, etc. will NOT be returning...more to come!

DEBUNKING:  President Page shared that he did not think that a Debunking should take place this year....he was on "mute" so no one but his lovely wife heard his request ...

SUMMER BOAT PARTIES:  It was suggested that we seriously try to have our summer boat parties in July and August (perhaps the LAST THURSDAY of the month.

OH YES, A SIDE NOTE:  Keenan was supposed to remind Chris about TWO PORT-A-POTTIES, TWO HAND WASHING STATIONS & TWO TRASH CONTAINERS for the barge area.  Perhaps Keenan can call Chris to remind him of this request.

INTERACT per Andy and Mike will be facilitating the parking @ First Foundation Bank again this year.  This is a fundraiser for the Interact Club generally raising $2k +/-.  GREAT work Andy and Mike.   Jim Miller will follow up with RI Insurance to cover FFB.
