President Quintin Page open the meeting at 6:30 PM.
Quintin Page led the Pledge to our Great Flag.
Miguel Gonzalez led us in the Star Spangled Banner and R-O-T-A-R-Y.  All club members where singing this in different keys and it was amazing!
Club members recited the 4-way test which reminded us of the way Rotarians should live their lives.

We welcomed back Cliff Fowler from an extended vacation.  It is my pleasure to welcome Cliff because the first thing that Cliff does when we meet is to hand me his Rotary Make ups from his vacation!  A good Rotarian.  Cliff Fowler talked about the Antique Auto Club event and their very welcome contributions to the Big Bear Valley.  It is one of the largest one day events for the Valley.  Cliff presented a check for $2,000 for the Santa Program.

The Club and Club Members were delighted to Induct our newest Rotary Member, John Harris.  John Harris is the head of the  City of Big Bear Lake's Public Works Department.  He has been on the job for the last two years.  He is from Montrose Colorado and is a true lover of the Mountains.  His family will be joining him at the end of the School year as his Son is finishing his Senior Year in Colorado.  John stated that he grew up on a farm and was very interested in working with the School System to start a School Garden.  We wish him the best of luck.  A side note: David Johnson stood in for Jim Miller who sponsored John but couldn't make the meeting!!!  I am sure that Recognition Tag Team will have something to say when we again see Jim!

Andy Brakebill, Youth Director brought us up to date on the RYLA interviews.  We have 15 students for the December Camp, which is great.  We had hope that there would be more applicants.  If you know of Juniors in High School that want to attend notify Andy and after their interview may attend the spring Camps.
