    3. Commercial sexual exploitation-prostitution, pornography, sex tourism.
  • Why does trafficking exist? (Some key points)
    1. Estimated 32 billion in profits annually
    2. Trafficking profitable because people are resalable and reusable
    3. Rising demand for purchasing sexual acts and pornography
    4. The profits generated worldwide by all forms of slavery in 2018 were 91.2 billion.

  1. Number 1 is California 1329 cases
  2. Number 2 is Texas 667 cases
  3. Number 3 is Florida 555 cases
  • Proposed Rotary Global Grant to create a sustainable large scale project in Riverside Counties/San Bernardino to combat Human trafficking.  Also, to collaborate with international Rotary clubs that will help with our project, setting the foundation for a reciprocal grant where we can help with trafficking in the areas.
  • One of the great ideas is to educate our Interact club members.  Need to get the information out.  Kids listen to kids.
  • The global grant will be $178,000.  Indio has given $10,000, Brazil $15,000.  That is $50,000 so far in cash.  Looking for more DDF and other monies, just need more clubs to participate.
